A collective brains trust that encompasses many decades of experience in medical technology, medicine and engineering, the founders of Rejuvatek Medical were among the pioneers of medical laser technology. With their extensive knowledge of the function and capacity of laser, they were able to recognise the limitations and risks involved with laser and its’ unsuitability for use in tattoo removal.
The healthier alternative to laser, Tatt2away’s system combines precise dermabrasion with the application of Teprsol, Rejuvatek Medical’s patented lactic acid solution. The process is both safe and minimally invasive, reminiscent of getting a tattoo. The technique disrupts the ink stimulating the body’s natural healing response to form a scab. Known as “escharotic tattoo removal”, a scab forms collecting the ink particles which lifts and removes the ink from the body permanently. With careful attention to aftercare following treatment, the body sheds the scab naturally and fresh ink-free skin is revealed. With up to 35% of all ink removed on the first treatment, subsequent treatments collect the remaining ink until the whole tattoo is removed.
